
Conference Day
Here are all the details you should need for the day of the conference. It's a long page, because there's a lot of info. If there's something missing, please let us know 🤗

Timings
Registration is between 8:30am and 9:30am. Lunch is 12pm-1pm, and the conference finishes by 5:45pm. There is also an afterparty at The Tipsy Bird.

Getting There
ICC Belfast, 2 Lanyon Place, Belfast, BT1 3WH

A note: when you come to the building you will want to come in the Riverside entrance (as noted in the floor plans below), it’s down towards the lagan if you’re at the waterfront side. Volunteers will be about to direct you.

By Public Transport
The ICC is a short walk from Lanyon Place Station, and the Waterfront bus stop is right outside the venue and serviced by a large number of routes. We suggest using the Translink app to plan your journey.

By Bike
There are cycle hoops outside the Waterfront Hall entrance of the building, and the Waterfront Belfast Bike stand is also directly outside the venue.

By Car

Registration

Once you come in the next thing you’ll do is check in for the event, please have your tickets ready for scanning.

This will be on the left hand side of the entrance hall - you’ll see the volunteers.

You’ll then get a lanyard and write your name on it (if you want!).

Cloak Room
On the right hand side of the entrance hall, right at the back.
You’ll be able to drop off any coats or jackets you have here to a member of the ICC team.
You’ll receive a token and can get them back or drop off at any time throughout the day.

Help On The Day

Dedicated Help Desk - Located on the Level 1, right at the top of the escalators.

Volunteers floating about to help you at any point. If you see someone in a pink t-shirt with Volunteer or Organiser written on it, that’s who you want to talk to, feel free to ask us anything or if you’re just looking a little chat, let us know.

As a note there will be rolling tea and coffee all day, feel free to bring a wee reusable cup with you to keep them caffeine levels up!​​

NB: Please refrain from bringing food items that contain nuts or peanuts, to create the best environment for all attendees.

Go to talks (you don’t always have to be at a talk, if that suits you great, if not, it’s ok to take the time you need, the waterfront path is a nice way to clear the head!).

Mingle in the exhibition hall and meet our sponsors, we literally couldn't put on NIDC without them, so go show your thanks (and grab some freebies 😜)

Try some really cool activities with our community partners in our villages on different levels.

Chat to other like minded people in the break out areas.

Childcare
Provided by MK Wedding Childcare

Childcare will be available from 9am.
-
Someone from the team will be at registration from 9, otherwise you can drop them off at the childcare room on Level 2.

There are 2 rooms on the second floor as per map above, a room to play/eat/be up, and a sleeping room arranged.
-
Parents/Guardians can call as much as you like to see the kids, even take them for a wee walk around the exhibition hall if you want.
-
Lunch will be provided to them in their room (sandwiches, fruit, water).
